Philadelphia Mountain Biking Association 2010 Wrap Up

2010 has been an interesting year for Mountain Biking in the Philadelphia version.  As we look back over this year we can’t help but notice that in addition to member support we have saw a steady climb of sponsors.  These sponsors allow us to continue advocating our sport and increasing our members while allowing our members proceeds to go DIRECTLY into trail & sport advocating projects.

REI – What can we say, they have been a huge power for us since the beginning and they continue to support us, whether it’s water bottles for swag, coupons for door prizes, the upcoming Moonlight Madness event (see other listing for details), plus the very appreciated Grant that we obtained in 2009!

Lupine Lights – They are a new sponsor to our organization but a known sponsor of the sport. In November Lupine came to our General Meeting with the latest Piko lights for our members to demo, for our Holiday Party they donated a new Piko light for our door prize and they have already confirmed that they will be at this years’ Rally in Valley. We look forward to seeing Bill, Dan & Carol in 2011!

Ugly Moose/Deke – Special THANKS to JP & Deke for allowing us the venue for our general meeting.  The venue is a prime spot for a meeting regardless of whatever season it is.  In the spring, summer, fall the garage doors are open & allows easy & secure bike parking.  In the winter they have a roaring fire pit.  They comp us wings & beer specials for every meeting, not to mention there tasty al carte menu.  They definitely help contribute to our General Meeting success.
