Yeap... it's sponsored by the locat MTB group in the Raystown Area.  They organized last year's opening weekend, which was a blast.

Dirt Fest is going to be a blast this year.  The main camping area this year will be at Susquehannock Campground which is in the heart of the trail system, it's a primitive campsite which means limited water and no electric.  Showers are still available at Seven Points as is camping(camping at seven points is not included in registration price) for those with RV's.

I would suggest registering early as there is limited campsites available at Susquehannock.

Kinda bummed I'm gonna miss this - last year was awesome. But since we are going to be in Colorado and Utah I guess I can't complain.

I just registered for this at http://www.bikereg.com/events/register.asp?eventid=10104

If you want to camp in the PMBA area, just list PMBA when you register and Evan, the guy organizing the event, is going to block off some prime real estate for us.  ;)

I am leaving Philly around noon on Thursday May 20th. Hope the weather cooperates.

Let the good times flow....

I am working with Evan the event promoter to get us set up to camp Thursday night. He needs to get permission from the US Corp of Engineers (land owner) and needs a list of people who will be there. Send me an email at if you want to camp Thursday night...

Let the good times flow....

Anyone have an idea who the people are who have registered under PMBG/PMBA, PMBA/PMBG a bit confusing for the Dirtfest organizers, are they members of PMBA?

PMBG is the Philadelphia Mountain Bike Meetup
Many of us are members of both the Meetup and PMBA
It would be nice to set up camp near each other.

Thanks.  The other option is 76 to 522 and up.  I've done that way before to get to Huntington, PA.

Re: Dirtfest 2010 Raystown Lake

I searched for an old email and found it.  This is another option given to me by a guy who lives in Huntington.  I did go this way a few years back thought it was good.  But I think there are benefits to either way.

Take the PA-76 exit, EXIT 189, toward FORT LOUDON/ MERCERSBURG.  0.4 mi

Merge onto WILLOW HILL INTERCHANGE (Portions toll).  0.4 mi

Turn LEFT onto PATH VALLEY RD/ PA-75.  4.2 mi

Turn LEFT onto SPRING RUN RD/ PA-641. Continue to follow PA-641.  8.6 mi

Turn RIGHT onto CROGHAN PIKE/ US-522. Continue to follow US-522.  16.6 mi

Turn LEFT onto US-22/ WILLIAM PENN HWY.  10.8 mi

To 26 South, etc
