Spot the PMBA sticker

So, I never really got a chance to do a write up from the UCI world cup event last weekend up at Windham Mt.

I have to say, those guys are pretty sick.  Lou, Curt and I actually went to the southwick pro motocross race the day before on Saturday, which in my opinion is the pinnacle of racing.  So I was skeptical somewhat that it would be any more exciting than that.  But after seeing the top DH riders in the world slam through probably the sketchiest course I've ever seen in my life, I was stoked.

It struck me how random the rocks were and the speeds those guys carried into it.  Imagine coming into a rock garden with baby heads and 2' to 3' jagged rocks all over.  I mean, I don't think you could hit the course twice the same way at those speeds.  Those guys have amazing reaction time.  There were a few sections where guys would have to jump like 20 ft and land in a rock garden with rocks 8" high all around them.  It was pretty unbelievable.  I have the utmost respect for these athletes.  If you get a chance to check out the US world cup event next year, DO IT!
