Dudes! Here is what I am planning for Halloween weekend:
Hotel Friday night, or leave early Sat am, ride Diabloween Saturday.
Head south to Blue Mountain and camp out at mountain, and then race DH at Blue’s last race on Sunday
This can be a friggin epic weekend!!! Hope the weather cooperates.
But I am not going to put all my eggs in the Halloween weekend, and have it be a rain out. Hence why I want to head to Diablo on Saturda the 23rd.
Sounds like a plan!..or a lightning storm...
I would love to go to Diabloween. If I end up going its gonna be saturday in to sunday... not sure how its gonna work, but i'll sleep in my car if i have to.
Killer last day of DH today at Blue 10/31. What a year! This was my 11th day at Blue. Nick Fortune, Callum, Dave G and myself (might have been some others) were representing PMBA Blitzkrieg Soldiers and we ended the season in fashion. Perfect weather, perfect dirt and good times... Cal finished his race so we have to see how he placed. Cal, let us know buddy!
Yes it was an awesome day! Lou said it, we ended the season with style, as nick fortune threw a roll the course marking tape at lou as we went by, the tail end caught onto lous arm, leaving the roll behind him wich unraveled about 40 feet of course marking tape. Lou didnt even notice until we reached the bottom! it was a great time.
As for the race goes, my chain fell of my front ring about 100 feet into the race, so i had to put it back on and i was off. I finished 4th, a little disapointed but the track was long and exausting. fastest time was 4:30 i believe! (set by world cup racer Neko Mulally)
Shuttle runs anyone?????

Thats a great idea! i was hoping to get to diablo for diabloween, and i really wanted to do the last race of the year at blue mountain. let me know if there is any extra room in someones car so i can get a ride up. i would love to do that.
Diablo this weekend sounds like a plan too. there is a race there on the weekend of the 23rd FYI.
ride the trail, dont let the trail ride you
