Rain Update Launch Bike Park @ Spring Mt. Opens April 30, 2011

Well it's about that time that the lifts start running at Spring Mt for Launch Bike park.

Saturday and Sunday, September 11 & 12, will be free full-day lift tickets to all riders. Thereafter Launch will be open Friday nights, Saturday & Sunday days through the Fall.
2010 lift ticket rates:

Friday nights (4PM to 8PM) Tickets: $12

Saturday and Sunday (10AM to 6PM) Tickets: $20

Is Spring still rideable daily without having to fork over $20 if one doesn't intend to use the lifts? Will I be trespassing if I enter the trail network via the Perkiomen Trail?

Chewster, from the Perk.

Chewster, from the Perk. trail, the Spring Mt Trails can be accessed from behind the bench at the start of the long downhill stretch that heads down to the bridge currently under renovation. It's a trail that's definitely intended to be more fun going down than up but once you're up, you come out to one of the "black diamond" runs. From there, go right and another trail will be on your right after 50-100 meters or so. The good folks involved with Launch can tell you lots more.

Yes all bikes will do just fine! About 4-5 days a week there is a solid spandex crew out that climbs up the XC switch back and they do lap after lap. Your not forced to do any drop or jump, chicken line around everything.

Thanks to all that came out

Thanks to all that came out this past Weekend! It was a great turn out, a hair over 100 waviers signed to ride, and thank God no Walmart bikes showed up for the free ride!

Bonks-You can ride Spring Mt 365 days a year, but no lifts for bikes once they start the ski season. I think?...I ride the back side, or as it's called on our trial map "Her Backside" during the winter months.

Don't forget we are now open every Friday night $12 (4pm to 8pm, or till dark) Satruday and Sundays $20 10am to 6pm.

O yea, some jackass rode his truck/4x4 through our jump line! Not the kind of trail help we're looking for. Hahahahah, we can only laugh about it.

Stop by the Launch Bike Park tent at the 2011 PMBA Rally in the Valley on April 16th - There we will be offering a limited number of 10 ticket packs for the SUPER low, 1 time only, special price of $159.00! That's only $15.90 a day!

Do you or a bud NOT have a DH/Freeride bike and want to give it a shot? A limited number of bikes will be available for rent as well as helmets and assorted safety gear.

This year Launch will be featuring some brand new trails, improvements to existing trails, new stunts, a dedicated Jump line, as well as bike hooks on every 3rd lift chair.

Launch is also the proud host of the 6th stop of the 2011 Gravity East Series on September 17 & 18.
