Ride is on tonight. Maybe we can practice our proper mud hole technique. Fridge is stocked! Bring something for the grill.

NOOO! I got screwed, got another obligation to do a band rehearsal for a friend (I wonder if I still can play my guitar?)
I'm out!
Have a blast in CO & I'll be back on again when you guys return. I was actually thinking when I get back to riding Wed I'd start abusing the grill over there w/some post ride grub. It's grillin season again!

Hey I was looking for some people to ride with today in the Wiss and haven't had much luck. What skill level are these Wednesday rides generally? I'm pretty much a beginner. Been to the clinic at rally in the valley and have been on a handful of rides since.
this ride is beginner friendly. if i make it out tonight i will stay with you and give you the lowdown. look for a dark gray giant xtc2.
Cool thanks! I'll be there. I'm really eager to get out today. If I start to hold folks up I can go off on my own, but I'll plan to start from the pavillion.
I am in for tonight.
Faith, I am slow too, so no worries. I'll hang back too if needed.

Okay, I may not make now. I am meeting a friend who backed out, but is not back in.
We are starting at Summit at 5:30, I may be at the Pavillion by 6:00.
Hope to see you there, if not I may catch up to the group.

Rico (& Faith too),

Too bad the trails were in such terrible condition....I'm kidding of course the trails were fine.

Great ride guys! Nice to meet you all. Thanks for the help on my bike, and have fun in CO for those who are going.
Well, I did kinda catch up with you guys....you passed me while me and my friend were looking for the skewer nut that fell off his front tire.
It was too funny, I was ahead of him, heard him crash behind me. I stopped, turned around and his front tire is coming right at me. I guess the skewer wasn't tight and his front wheel popped off after hitting a rock. Luckily he wasn't hurt, just a couple scrapes. Then after we put his front tire back on, I go to pick up my bike to continue the ride and my back tire skewer was loose and we had to reattach that. Thanks Justin (I think that was your name; sorry if I got it wrong) for stopping to help with that too.
Kris, thanks for stopping and talking to us for a few minutes. We were about to give up looking for the skewer cap and walk back. That conversation gave us just enough time to finally find it.
Good ride!

No sweat, Rico... I can't believe your buddy spotted that while we were standing there!
Let's bicycle boogie!
I couldn't believe it either. We looked for close to 20 minutes...walking back and forth for about 50 yards.
If you look at my EveryTrail map (on FB), there is one section where you can see where were going in circles.

ya Rico sorry I (we) didn't stop as that's a fast section and we just blew by - glad all was fixed eventually!

so you guys had the true version of the deodorant commercial w/the mountain biker! haha..but could he have rode the wheelie?
bomb hills.. not people.
Ya, screw you, Nick...next time I'm throwing a stick in your spokes!
Just kidding.
Yeah, Rob...just like that, but NOOOO that wheelie would not have been done. Thus the scrapes and cuts. LOL

I was thinking about it, but its really hot out there...I could very easily be convinced to ride if you don't mind waiting up for me every once an awhile(I'm slow-ish).
Me and Buddy are wheels out from the Pavilion at 6:30, anybody else is welcome

Rain rain go away!...Maybe tonight is a good time for me to try to get my tires tubeless. I'm assuming no riding tonight?

I would be down to head over to Con Murphys to hang out with Rob, since he's bartending.
