More than 30 mountain bikers showd up for the second PMBA bike clinic of the summer, held on Saturday July 12 and starting at Pachella Field. Organized by PMBA Board member Jesse Kelly, the clinc featured rides for all levels of bikers. Jon Pearce, Lou Harris and Nick Fortune led an "intro" ride, whose riders turned out to be significantly better than typical beginner riders. Jesse gave a "comprehensive " introduction to proper preparation for mountain bike racing and then headed out onto the trial with the race prep group. Tom Coyle took a group of more advanced riders over to the Indian trail for some instruction on handling the rocky descents over there, and Kelly Bostick took the women riders on "Girls Ride" through most of the surrounding trails.{mosimage}
